Why this site exists

Most gear recommendations online are SEO filler — walls of affiliate links with zero real-world context. We're trying to be the opposite: short, opinionated buying guides written by people who actually play. We cover five sports because athletes deserve the same quality of advice whether they're chasing a forward on natural grass or driving the lane on hardwood.

How we make money

We earn a commission when you buy something via a link on this site. It costs you nothing extra — the price is identical to going direct. We disclose this on every page. See the affiliate disclosure for the full breakdown, including every network and merchant we work with.

How we choose products

• Anything we feature must be available from an established merchant we trust to handle returns. We do not link to grey-market or unverified sellers.
• We test gear on the actual surfaces it's designed for where possible — natural grass, artificial turf, hardwood, dirt. When we cannot test directly, we state that clearly.
• Commission rate is never the deciding factor. We would rather link to a better product at a smaller commission than recommend something we would not use ourselves.
• AI-generated copy is labeled. We use AI to scale product descriptions; humans decide what to recommend and how to rank it.

Editorial independence

PeakNora editorial decisions are made independently of affiliate relationships. Brands cannot pay to improve placement in our guides, buying recommendations, or Gear Finder results.
